READING
Our books are organised using the Reading Recovery Book Bands. The Oxford Reading Tree, Cambridge, Rigby and Sunshine are the main schemes used, alongside a variety of picture books at an appropriate level. We also have a wide selection of Big Books which are used across the school.
PHONICS
In the Early Years and Year, 1 we use the 'ReadWriteInc' phonics scheme alongside 'Playing with sounds' to deliver a daily phonics session. In Year 2, there is a focus on Spelling Strategies as well as Phonic skills.
